How to use BDSM Clamps
What are BDSM clamps?
The clamps used in BDSM are of various types, depending on the desired sensations.
Often used on the nipples, they can just as easily be placed on different parts of the body, if they are adapted.
They can be used to lightly pinch the nipples to offer interesting stimulation, exacerbating sensations in the breasts.
It’s also possible to ramp up the intensity, with several clamps, or clamps with spikes.
Who can use BDSM clamps?
BDSM clamps, whether nipple clamps or clamps used elsewhere on the body, can be used on any body. Whatever the gender of the person, nipples will always be a sensitive area, and other parts of the body to explore will bring pleasure, and pain, to anyone wanting to try it.
The wide variety of clamps, both in terms of intensity and number, allows for very light, very intense practices, for beginners and advanced alike.
What role do clamps play in BDSM?
Pliers are very common in BDSM, thanks to their many applications.
In sensory play, they are used to make the skin sensitive and receptive.
In Sadism and Masochism, they can be used to provoke mild to very severe pain.
In Domination/Submission, by attaching a chain or other link, they can be used to steer, or even pull like a leash, if the clamps are suitable.
How to choose BDSM clamps?
-Choose the pain level of the clamps.
Some clamps are gentler, others more intense. It’s also possible to vary the intensity.
- Classic nipple clamps with a small screw are generally quite gentle, if the setting spreads them far enough apart.
- “Thai” nipple clamps with two rods are more intense, adjustable with the elastic on both sides.
- Japanese” nipple clamps are also slightly more intense.
- Clothes pegs are generally of medium intensity when used alone, but become very intense when used in a group, as “zipper clamps”.
- Spike clamps are the most intense, with one or more spikes at the pressure point, and are very painful indeed.
-Select the right clamps for the right area of the body.
Each pair of clamps has its own specific characteristics, which may or may not allow them to be applied to different parts of the body.
- “Thai” nipple clamps are generally used on the breasts only.
- Classic nipple clamps are generally used on the breasts and genitals only.
- “Japanese” nipple clamps are generally used on the breasts, but also on other parts of the body.
- Clothes pegs are generally used all over the body.
- Spike clamps are generally used on the nipples, with care.
How do I use BDSM clamps?
For adjustable clamps, the first thing to do is to take the time to set the desired pressure, which will vary according to the intensity of stimulation or pain sought by both partners.
Take the time to stimulate the area, to make it more sensitive, by massaging, licking, or whatever you like to make the skin rosy and excite your partner.
To apply the clamps, grasp one in one hand and pinch your partner’s skin or nipple between two fingers of your other hand.
Once you’ve chosen the right spot and grasped it in your hand, place the clamps on and check that they fit your partner.
You can give it a gentle tug to check its fit.
Once the clamps are in place, you can play with them, gripping and turning them slightly, pulling on them, and if they’re zipper clamps, pulling on the ribbon to make some of them jump, leaving your partner waiting for you to remove the others or not, and how many.
You can also pull the chain or ribbon attached to the clamps to draw your partner to you, forced to follow your movement or suffer the pain.
To remove BDSM clamps, you have several options: the soft method, by simply opening the clip as you put it in.
The hard way, by pulling on the clamp to hold the skin until it’s released, the amount of skin being thinner and thinner, the pain becoming more and more intense.
Alternatively, pop the clamps with a riding crop, giving short blows from the side until they come off.
It’s important to note that spiked clamps are not at all suitable for the hard method, as they hold the skin too tightly.
